SENIOR ENGINEER

The candidate must have at least 5 years experience developing enterprise class systems. The candidate is expected to have superior software skills and to be proficient in Java and or.net/C#. Knowledge of oriented design patterns and extensive experience with development of multi-thread applications is essential. Experience in the financial services industry is not an absolute requirement, but highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience working with TIBCO E4JMS and Rendezvous messaging protocols or other similar messaging middleware products. Domain experience in equity, fixed income or derivatives is considered a plus.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Play an active role in a development team that is designing, developing, testing, and debugging our trading system and message-oriented-middleware software products. Contribute to the development of enterprise class systems that are deployed in some of the most demanding environments on Wall Street.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have an advanced degree in CS or a related area or have a comparable amount of industry experience. The candidate is expected to have superior software engineering skills and have a strong understanding of Java and related technologies. Some industry experience in the design and development of scalable, multi-threading systems is a positive. Experience with Internet technologies - HTTP, SOAP, TCP/IP, JMS - is highly desirable. Attention to detail - in design, documentation, and implementation - is a must. Some industry experience in equity, fixed income, or derivatives is a definitive plus.

DEVELOPER INTERN

Assist development teams with developing testing and debugging our trading system and message-oriented-middleware software products. Contribute to the successful release of enterprise class systems that are deployed in some of the most demanding environments on Wall Street.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be in their final year of undergraduate work or working towards an advanced degree in Computer Science. Experience working in the financial services industry in equity, fixed income or derivatives is a definitive plus. Candidate is expected to have superior software engineering skills, and be proficient in Java, C++ and/or .Net/C#. Attention to detail - in design, documentation, and implementation - is a must.

Candidates are expected to work 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year. This is a paid position and is expected to lead into full-time employment.
